Introduction

There are numerous news published every seconds around the world. It is time-consuming to read through the long article to understand which companies or stocks a news is talking about.

This NLP model is trained to identify the related stocks in a given news. It currently support tagging stock symbols for English and Chinese news.

Some of the use cases for this API:

  • filter all related news for a given stock
  • identify most relevant news event to explain market dynamics of a given stock
  • further development for sentiment driven trading model
